Meko is an international award-winning harpist, recording artist and composer based in Orlando, Florida. His journey started as a toddler at the family piano and continued when, at 11 years of age, he took up the harp and began rigorous classical training.

Although he loved classical music, he intuitively knew that the classical concert stage was not where his destiny lay. He began writing his first original songs, formed a band, dabbled in vocals, and started performing on the electric harp.

A true international artist, Meko has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, Central America – the world, performing in both English and Spanish languages.

Meko is founder and director of the International Harp Museum and seeks to promote the harp worldwide. He is two-time prize winner of the International Jazz-Harp Competition and has ranked in the top 20 on the New Age Charts.

Meko's first solo CD, The Journey, features original music ranging "from gentle melodies to pulse-pounding rythms, performed on the most ancient of musical instruments – the harp."

His sophomore CD, the self-titled Meko, branches out and embraces several musical genres, languages and, for the first time, Meko himself on vocals. From the first track to the last the unique melodies, unforgettable hooks and haunting tunes will have listeners of all types swaying to the rhythms and singing along. Meko is "infectious and delicious music that satisfies the soul."

His third CD, Christmas at the Castle, weaves a gorgeous tapestry of traditional holiday music performed on the Celtic harp, flute and cello.

Meko's fourth CD ICE, combines his electric harp with lush orchestrations and outstanding performances by guest artists. An international effort - a multi- sensory experience.

Meko – the name is synonymous with music – classical, rhythmic, contemporary, diverse, melodic, and above all else, soulful.

Track #8 Canon in D
