Paul Hurst is a nationally recognized harpist, pianist, and composer. He has played harp at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas for Diana Ross, Sammy Davis, Jr., Ann Margaret, Paul Anka, and Tom Jones. His signature interpretations of classical and popular favorites combined with original compositions have thrilled audiences throughout the US, Europe, and Japan. He has numerous recordings on his own label, Safari Productions, including his symphonic composition, “Sequoia Rhapsody.”
In 2003, Hurst produced a concert series at St. Francis Cathedral and Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and continued the series in 2005. He was commissioned to write a piece to celebrate the elevation of the Cathedral to Basilica, “The House of God, Anthem for Choir, Soprano, Harp, Percussion & Orchestra.” He maintains an active schedule of teaching and concert tours.
