Do you know that The International Harp Museum relies completely on the generosity of its friends and supporters in order to meet the enormous cost of providing programs and services, year round, to scores of visitors? Besides helping to preserve our wonderful harp collection for future generations, your donations support many exciting activities, including:

• Our Quarterly Concert Series featuring the most outstanding harpists
  from around the world
• Our Annual Spotlight On Youth Concert which provides the winning entrant
  with a public platform from which to perform a full-fledged concert
• The IHM Ambassador of the Harp
• Lectures
• Our Harp Legacy Program
• Seasonal/rotating exhibits, which facilitate ongoing, educational opportunities
• Our Harp Discovery educational program, offered to all school children
• Our IHM Inner City Outreach program for underprivileged youth giving them the opportunity to learn about and study the harp

Building Fund

While housing the IHM in a 1920's Mediterranean villa is a charming idea, we have long since outgrown its usefulness. We are in desperate need of a new location large enough to display our growing collection, host our ongoing concerts and programs, house our library, provide studio space and a central gathering place for all our activities.

 

 

 

Volunteer

You do not have to be a harpist to be a part of the IHM family, we need many Friends of the Harp who are willing to share their enthusiasm. It all depends on your schedule and interests. For those who would like to give the gift of time, we have many ways to volunteer:

• Bring the IHM to life by leading guided tours
• Special occasions also arise for volunteer opportunities, including events, exhibits and fund-raising
• Grant Writing
• General office assistance
